Announcing new music which is likely to delight the ears of fans, Seoul based band Soul Delivery are currently recording another upcoming album. Featuring songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Joon’s Second life, the band is composed of talented musicians SHINDRUM, Yonghoon Jung, HAEUN and Joon Lee.
Bringing together their passion for soul and jazz, Soul Delivery is able to seamlessly blend these influences alongside hip-hop to create an original sound. The clever craftsmanship involved in making their songs can be heard throughout in the quality of their songwriting and production.
Releasing their debut album entitled ‘FOODCOURT’ in March 2022, Soul Delivery composed 12 tracks based from relaxed spontaneous musical jams. Recorded at a time Joon’s Second Life shortly returned to Korea, the band recorded each jam session and within a couple of months their debut album was completed and later reviewed by the Korean magazine ‘Rhythmer’ as one of the 10 Best Soul/R&B albums of 2022.
Self-producing every visual attached to the album, Soul Delivery produces personal and organic content that sits nicely with their music. Recording their second album in Unwound Studios in Deptford London, Soul Delivery will commence songwriting in February 2023. The second album will work in a similar pattern to their first, based on raw improvisation making the results of the album unintentional and spontaneous. Soul Delivery have planned to invite a variety of guests from everywhere around the world, making their second album a true mixture of diverse cultures.
