The former Little mix star who has ventured out within the past year and started her solo career has now declared that she will no longer be working with her chosen label Polydor who have backed her through her first solo single ‘Boyz’ which was released in 2021. It has been reported that 31 year old Jesy chose to walk away from the major label, as she chooses to make a brand new start after her new music due to Polydor’s team had been delayed.
Now, as Jesy is even more so on the up publicly, it seems that many major and independent labels are excited to get stuck in with the R&B/Pop artist. The Sun shared that Jesy is currently being “courted by labels who are interested in getting her onboard”. After taking some time to reflect on her departure from Little Mix which took place in 2020, Jesy was soon snatched up by the major label Polydor who also houses such artists as Sam Fender and Billie Eilish.
Peaking at No.4 in the charts, her single ‘Boyz’ is all that has been released as of yet, as we have now discovered that her album had been put on pause through Polydor, which explains Jesy’s desire to leave the label. Here to Jesy’s newest industry adventure with some great music alongside!
