Florence Welch on of Relapse During Lockdown

35 year old Florence Welch, lead singer of the famous alternative indie UK band Florence & The Machine, has shared her empathy and opinions on the important topic of sobriety relapse during lockdowns around the world within the past few years of Covid 19. Florence had shared within her U.S Vogue Magazine interview that she found the initial 2020 lockdown incredibly difficult towards her strength towards sobriety and understood how other similar individuals may have fallen into a relapse pattern.

Sharing her ongoing empathy as she has suffered an eating disorder as a younger child, she shared that the desire to fall back into old habits can be one that swoops in unknowingly when the world is going through a traumatic event and everything seems to feel uneasy.

Florence had also celebrated 7 whole years of sobriety in 2021 which was a great help and shared a sense of hope for those also struggling. Sharing her understanding online has managed for not only herself but for her following to take more thought into account when noticing the signs of bad habits becoming more apparent during intensely stressful times.
