Harry Fenn
Since the release of her debut album in 2008, Nickita’s music has been played around the world both on the radio and at her stunning live performances where she exhibits her impressive vocal range.
This Mother’s Day, (14th March) Nickita brings us her new single ‘Breathe Again’, the sales of which are going directly to her organisation’s fundraising effort When Push Comes to Shove. Nickita proves that she is a force to be reckoned with with this emotionally charged and powerful single, focussed on raising awareness of the choices available to women about the birth of their child and on providing support for independent midwives at a time when there are few opportunities for them.
After personally suffering multiple miscarriages, Nickita vowed to dedicate herself to the cause and completed her training to become a Doula; she has now provided critical support to countless women, making them aware of the choices that are available to them. The single’s release will be accompanied by a documentary on women’s pre-production birthing rights.
