Pop favourite Sam Smith has teamed up with fan favourite Swedish singer Kim Petras as they embark on their newest collaboration with anticipated single ‘Unholy’ which is set for release on September 15th. These two hitmakers have been working closely together when creating this single which has been chosen as the lead track from Sam’s upcoming fourth studio album.
Sam had shared that the song was created in Jamaica and described the writing process as one of the most glorious creative moments’ that they have ever experienced. Expressing how fun this track was to create, Smith went on to stay that the felt as if the experience showed incredible amount of cathartic and emotional space as they ‘threw out the rule book’ and let loose. Sam additionally shared what an hour it was to be working with an artist such as Petras and had described their collaborative process as one that was both freeing and experimental.
