The famous ‘Budapest’ singer has shared that collaborating with other artists is something he likes to steer clear from. Ahead of his third album ‘Gold Rush Kid’ to be released in the later part of this year on June 10th, George has shared that the idea of working with other artists is not something that he favours.
Ezra expresses that the idea of teaming up with any other musicians is something that he has very little interest in and doesn’t see as an upcoming venture within his writing. Although sounding harsh, it is very common for artists to want to keep their creative practices for themselves. So often we forget just how personal and emotionally intentional Songwriting can be, and some artists, such as Ezra seem to be comfortable within that concept.
Artists such as Billie Eilish follow this same ethos, as she has previously stated that ‘she doesn’t like working with other people’ when talking to ‘Spin’ on the topic of creative cooperation.
If there is one thing that we know for sure, it’s that whether followed by a musical team or not, George Ezra’s music never shy’s away from excellence which is something that fans and listeners alike will be tentatively awaiting once ‘Gold Rush Kid’ drops this summer!
